Hi everybody, My company moves on this weekend. My company bought 6 months ago another company which operates in the same activity. Our offices were too small to host all employees. Thus the top management, which I completely admire, find new offices. I am quite happy because I dislike the current offices. I work in a big open space which not organised like a real open space. The new offices are much more modern than the previous one. Bye

I dislike having many things. That is why I have a few books or a few trousers and so on. I think what is important is not what you have but who you are. Culture can be a mean to have an happy life. For instance, I like watching Arte because many interesting documentaries are broadcast. But my wife prefer watching entertainment like US series and so on. I respect her choice but she does not respect my choice. For instance, every thursday, there is "la grande librairie". She hates it while i love it. Now, i go to bed and watch it with my netbook. 2011 year started about twelve days ago. Honestly, I hope succeed in my objectives. One of them is to get 750 points for the Toeic. It was one of m'y objective for 2010. And I did not pass the Toeic test. I have less and less time to work for me. Simon takes all my time. I try to use public transport as efficient as possible but it is difficult. Firstly, it is difficult to concentrate on a task while the environnent is noise. Secondly, I am a bit tired both the morning and the night. I have a few time at the weekend. Allan

Hi,

I am completely tired. This weed-end, I did many things for my family. I washed the flat, I went two times to the city centre to send a letter and buy a chicken, I used four times the washing machine, I received two people who live in the same building, I took petrol for the car, I explained my wife how to get to her new job building (we drove for more thant one hour and a half). So, it is logic I am tired.

 

When I was without children, I sometimes complained because I though there were too many things to do at the week-end. I was wrong. A child takes you all you energy. You always have to look after him.

I am quite proud of me because many dads do not look after their children. It is not my case. Even if sometimes it is complicated I always do my duties.

Hi, 

I lost my ID card about one month ago. I use "about" because I do not know when exactly. To ask a new ID car, I had to complete some official documents. This morning, I went to the "Hotel de ville" to make my demand. At first, I was a bit stressed because you can lose much time waiting for discuss with the correct employee.

Nevertheless, it took only 20 minutes to complete my ask. I was so surprised!

I am reading Jérôme Kerviel's book. My syster (I have one sister and two brothers) lend me this book. This book quite interesting because it is Kerviel's point of view. I always believe that his managers were aware Keviel used huge amount for trading. But as long as Kerviel earns money, there was no problem. Nevertheles

This book also deals with friendship. I think was a bit innocent. He had strong links with some colleagues. But, these friends were interested in Kerviel because thank to him they earned lots of money.

When he was in jail, these "friends" never came to see him. What a friendship! This beahviour sicks me.

I bought one week ago "Touching the void" from Joe Simpson. It is an incredibly story about a Britain alpinism who succeeded in avoiding the death while one of his leg was broken in the Siuala grande moutain! I am reading this book and I am finding it really interesting. Note that I already the story because I saw the movie one year ago. I decided to read the book to get further informations.

I am listening to "a brief history of mathematics". This series composed of t'en episodes is worth listening. Each episode lasts about 15 minutes. Euler, Fourrier, Newton... Are described. I am a technician. I like all techonogies from computer science to mechanism. I am surprised at man's creativity. Man always thinks how to improve its knowledge. Many things can be explained with mathematics. There are Somers books dedicated to the mathematics. I may buy one to satisfy my curiosity.
